With the batman-adv multicast support compiled back in again we end up with multicast addresses in the batman-adv translation table. Currently we wrongly interpret multicast addresses returned by TT as a unique host, too, which adds them with a source address filter to ebtables as well. However, the source address of an ethernet frames is never supposed to be a multicat one. This leads to unnecessary entries in ebtables. Use a release!
Please refrain from using the master branch for anything else but development purposes!
Use the most recent release instead. You can list all releases by running git tag
and switch to one by running git checkout v2017.1.5 && make update.
If you're using the autoupdater, do not autoupdate nodes with anything but releases. If you upgrade using random master commits the nodes will break eventually.
